Seville offers numerous art galleries and halls where different types of expositions are held throughout the year (painting, photography, sculpture, etc.).

This hall is property of the City Council Office of Culture. Primarily painting, sculpture, sumptuary art pieces and photographic exhibitions are shown here. The building alone, once an ancient church, is a historic-artistic landmark.
The El Monte Foundation was established in 1992. It inherited what had been up until then social and cultural programs supported by local savings banks. These programs over time had demonstrated their validity. Under this change of structure, new programs were introduced and over these past years the foundation has consolidated its activities by offering music, flamenco, conferences, courses, expositions, films, etc.
Fundación Focus (Fundación Fondo Cultural de Sevilla)

This foundation was started in 1982, sponsored by Abengoa. Since 1991 its headquarters has been the Hospital de los Venerables Sacerdotes. The objective of this foundation is to promote diverse forms of culture, artistic and scientific. Throughout the year various exhibitions, concerts, seminars and conventions are held here, as well as the publishing of books.
The social charity work of Caja San Fernando organizes a significant number of programs and events in areas such as culture, social, health, leisure, investigation, teaching, the environment and editorial activities.
Museo de Bellas Artes

Headquartered is the historic Antiguo Convento de la Merced, the second most important art gallery in Spain after the Prado Museum. Its 14 halls houses works from the Gothic period until the 20th C. It also has a hall for temporary expositions.

Throughout the year artistic and cultural activities are organized (free admission). Aside from expositions, other cultural activities include: Spring theatre, Summer Concerts in the garden, and Conferences during the Fall and Winter. These events are financed by Patrons of the Real Alcázar. On certain occasions financing is obtained from other public and private foundations or sources.
